The state of the anime address

Anime is officially no longer considered 'geeky' in the United States. This may come as a shock to those of you who enjoy thinking you're a part of some obscure cult or something, but it's just no longer true. I realized this once and for all not too long ago. Well, that's the end of anime's popularity in the United States. Now that the squares no longer consider it 'geeky', it's no longer cool! Oh well. It's been a fun ride while it lasted!

No, now it will be the next 'cool' thing. And all it's former fans will abandon it in droves to be replaced by the hip crowd! Anime on every screen at your local Starbucks!

Happy Bday and stuff ^-^
While I totaly agree its now mainstream, since anime and manga are found in most civilized areas of the US , there is still refuge to be taken in the things that mainstream will never see. Anyone who is a fan anime and manga knows at least one thing they like that has a good probability of never seeing this side of the pacific, at least not comercialy. So for now one can take comfort in that, as well as the fact that nekomimi vampires are still unheard of outside its fanbase.
