Summary: Set about a month after 2.06!
Karofsky catches Finn having a go at Kurt and proves that maybe being with him
isn’t such a bad thing as was once perceived.
Am dedicating this to fatal_scribbles and ellisons_dream !
David Karofsky had never been the nicest person in the world to those he deemed beneath him.
Over high school years he had developed a reputation as a vicious bully who threw his weight around,
he wasn’t fat by any means he was muscular from hockey playing no matter what Hummel thought.
Yet no matter what people thought family was something he would protect till the death.
That’s why walking past the choir room after school, a week after the events in the locker that he had tried with some hope not to think of,
he stopped was shocked to hear Finn snarling something at Kurt, weren’t they meant to like step-brother now?
He thought to himself as he slowly walked towards the doorway of the choir room.
As he neared he started to make out some of what was being said.
“...Don’t need you around tonight...Me and Rachel don’t need you near us whilst we are trying to get it on... I don’t want to feel uncomfortable on my own date with you around...”
Dave heard some of what was being said and took that what he couldn’t wasn’t any better by the glittering eyes on Kurt and the tight set of his mouth as he kept silent
and took what was being said to him.
Moving even closer he silently entered the room staying by the door and listened to the rest of the conversation.
“Why can’t you go see your fucking boyfriend...” at this Dave internally cringed,
was he really that bad that Kurt goes out with anyone right after being kissed by Dave. When Kurt finally answered it was quietly
“He isn’t my boyfriend Finn and it’s my room I don-“at this he was cut off by Finn storming closer and practically hissing
“It may be your room but it doesn’t give you the right to be allowed to make my dates harder...” as Finn slowly walked closer Kurt tensed as if expecting to be hit
“...or staring at me like some ...” before he could finish the sentence Dave coughed drawing attention to himself.
Both boys turned to stare at him Finn’s face still in an angry snarl, Kurt’s face losing all colour.
Ignoring Kurt for the moment Karofsky turned to Finn “Hudson what are you doing?” he asked lowly he voice a mere rumble of what it usually was.
Finn’s face slowly became impassive yet his fists slowly balled up. “None of your fucking business Karofsky, just talking to me brother here.”
He glanced at Kurt for his reaction at this before snapping back to Finn who now had a look of anger on his face “Why you think I am going to let you hurt him? Then you can ...”
Finn asked stepping protectively in front of Kurt whose eyes widened in confusion. Stalking closer Dave let out a bark of laughter at Finns 1800 personality switch.
“You should protect your family more not just when you need to feel better about yourself.”
He told him quietly looking to the side to see Kurt warily watching everything happening. The look of fear, confusion and was that hope? He could see in his face near broke his heart.
As Finn’s anger got the best of him he took a step towards Dave slowly raising his fist.
Kurt’s eyes widened and took a step forward as well grabbing Finn’s other wrist saying softly “Finn stop.” Dave’s anger grew as Finn shook Kurt off irritably bumping him
in the side with a sharp elbow causing him to in hail sharply at the sharp sting in his ribs. As Finn turned his head to look at Kurt,
Dave swung and hit him to the floor “Shit” Finn called out as he fell bodily to the floor. As Finn watched stared at him from the floor he said softly to Kurt
“that’s for not telling anyone.” Before leaving the room and heading down the hallway. Stupid you know Kurt still likes him...now he is always going to think of you as violent he thought to himself not hearing the slap of designer shoes hitting the floor behind him until a frail hand caught his bigger one.
Looking up in surprise and ready for the insults Kurt was sure to bring his way for hitting the boy he would soon call step brother he was surprised to feel the pressure of lips on his. He started out of his shock when he felt Kurt uncertainly pull away, putting his free hand on Kurt’s waist he pulled him closer kissing him properly smiling into the kiss as Kurt kissed back this is what it should have been like in the locker room he thought to himself as he slowly ran his tongue over Kurt’s lips slipping it in as Kurt gasped in pleasure. Tangling his tongue with Kurt’s he pulled the lither boy closer to himself
and moved the so he could push the gently against the locker cradling his head with one of his hands.
Suddenly he felt small hands pushing him back shit he snapped out of it Karofsky panicked and went to move bodily away
until he felt those same hands that had pushed him away twice grip on his shirt keeping him close.
Hearing the other boy chuckle Dave looked at the other boy cradled in his arms. Kurt blue eyes were staring at him in awe as he murmured
“that how my first kiss was supposed to feel.” Causing Dave to groan and lean back towards him,
Kurt leaned up to meet him halfway kissing him back just as hard as he was being kissed tangling his fingers in Dave’s brown hair to pull him closer as Dave pressed Kurt into the lockers.
Smirking to himself Dave lifted Kurt up by his thighs and pressed him to the lockers again whilst the smaller boy hooked his legs around Dave’s waist.
As Dave got into the make out session for, moving from Kurt’s mouth to his throat Kurt bared his throat.
“Kurt...Kurt where are you? Fucking Shit where are you Kurt?” the sound of Finns voice stopped the two boys and they started at each other wearily,
waiting for each other to freak out. Letting the other boy down Dave kept him close still staring at his blue eyes.
“I just wanted to say thanks for that...” Kurt whispered to him in a hushed voice running his fingers through Dave’s hair. “Is that all?” Dave asked,
hurt at the kiss only meaning something more to him. Starting to move away from the other boy in hurt he felt Kurt’s fingers tighten on him and he looked at the prettier boy in front of him.
“I shouldn’t feel like this about you” the smaller boy told him in wonder as he moved closer stopping scarce millimetres away from him before sighing heavily
“This won’t be easy Dave, there is so much between us...”
Dave felt sorrow at rejection in his gut and sighed heavily it is your own fault for being such a douche to him over the years ... he thought heavily to himself before realising Kurt was still speaking.
“But if you are willing to prove yourself then it may work.” Looking at him confusion Dave asked in confusion “What?” sighing Kurt rolled his eyes
“I am saying that if you want I can be your secret boyfriend.” at Dave’s shocked silence Kurt b began to get worried and started to detangle himself until a muttered curse caught his attention and he felt lips on his again.
Moving away Dave smirked at the kiss bruised lips on Kurt before telling him “I don’t share Hummel so tell that posh kid that he hasn’t got a chance.”
He told him before leaving Kurt laughing behind him.
Just as he left Finn came round the corner to find Kurt chuckling against a locker “Kurt we have to go our parents want us home for tea in a bit”
he told him through his aching jaw which he could feel starting to bruise. At his near step-brothers voice Kurt stopped laughing and stated to walk on knowing
that Finn was following him for a lift. A look of confusion passed over Finn’s face as he watched the smug sway of Kurt’s walk and how read his lips were.
If I didn’t know any better it would look like Kurt got kissed but the only people here are me,
Kurt and Karofsky Finn thought to himself before shaking that thought away like anything would happen between both of them they hate each other...Right?
Authors Note: really sorry that this isn’t my best I haven’t wrought a fic in about a year or so
I know that this is unrealistic in that you wouldn’t go from hating to making out but let’s be honest we all wanted Kurt to pull him closer and not push him away
when Karofsky goes in for seconds.
Can’t wait to see how this storyline plays out as I really want this pairing to work!!
