So, we don't know each other... at all, really. But I am looking to start over with my life, make new friends, so I started browsing LJ... this entry of yours caught my eye because I, too, like helping people. Sometimes too much for my own good, because I have a tendency to neglect myself and my needs in the process. Parts of me want to be a doctor, too, but... then again, I'd be terrified that I would screw up somehow. I've always wanted to be an EMT though. Now I'm rambling... I apologize.

Nah...it's all good. I was a Paramedic, got burned out, tho. So, give you fair warning: it can be stressful and sometimes down right depressing. I mean I dun know where ya live so it could be different but where I live the NOVA area, it was a VERY difficult.

Really? Yeah, I imagine it would be stressful and depressing, considering the line of work and all. I don't know. Do you ever watch Grey's Anatomy? I've been learning a lot from that show, it's great.

Yeah, I watch it but be careful with some of those shows. Don't take those at face value. I can tell you some stories bout the ER (Use to work in one) and working in the back of an ambulance. It's not as pretty as they make on TV. And sometimes (dare i say it) it at times got pretty boring. If you really want to know what it's like, let me know. I'll tell ya...
