so the other day i went christmas shopping. i can totally check off..derek, tarah, and dierdre. oh and my parents. and i refuse to buy something for my brother, cause the last thing he said to me was that he hated me and didnt consider me his sister, so should i actually buy him anything? blah, i kind of want to, i dont want to be petty with him

Get him a joke present, like a fake dog turd. My older sister gave me that once (not 'cause I was a jerk to her) and that was one of the coolest presents I ever got. Well, second coolest compared to the Spud Gun she gave me one year.
