I picked up Coldplay's new album a couple of days ago because of the 'Speed of Sound' song and on the strength of their former albums. I thought the first 2 songs were a bit slow and boring, maybe they'll grow on me. From the 5th track onwards though, its very good. That may be because a lot of those songs are signature Coldplay.
