We have a local candy company, Miesse's Candy here that makes the best sugar free chocolates. Jayjay and I are big fans of their sugar fee peanut smoothies..........

Since joining Weight Watchers, I've become somewhat an expert on Sugar-Free vs. No Sugar Added vs. Nonfat products. Diabetics and Atkins junkies have a zillion and one products out there that they can have; but unfortunately, most of those products aren't options for the WW plan. Sugar Free and No Sugar Added products usually compensate with higher fat contents and Nonfat items do the reverse. It's hard to find sugar free AND fat free noshes. I find that the best sugar free/fat free sweets are candy that is usually fat free anyway, and have a sugar substitute. I've never met a diet chocolate product that didn't turn my digestive tract into chaos. Sugar free Jelly Bellys are identical in taste to the regular; so are sugar free Lifesavers. Weight Watchers has several candy and chocolate products that are good and don't give you cramps.....whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR FREE RUSSELL STOVER PRODUCTS!!!! It like having the runs, constipation, AND cramps all at the same time, and if you are ANYWHERE in public, you are screwed ( ... )

I have already had my horrible moment with Russell Stover sugar-free products. OUCH!

I do like the sugar-free cookies made by the company Murray's. I think they use Splenda, which seems ok.

As for french-fries, if loving 'em is wrong, I don't wanna be right! hehehehe...

I've found I can eat most any sugar free products without any ill effects other than some varieties of sugar free chocolate. Those varieties keep me running...lol

I guess the best example is this... I no longer assume that authority figures are automatically wrong, which I've found to be the liberal company line. I weigh things out now with my own mind, and not with the consensus. And I find that I err more on the side of authority more often than I used to.

I guess the best and most accurate thing to say is that I think for myself. I don't let others tell me what I should and should not believe.

I've decided not to give financial support to any politician who isn't explicitly anti-Iraq war and pro-gay equality in this election cycle.

Good luck finding an electable one, alas.
