Hmmmm the "bear circuit" thingy. I hear ya. But for me anyway, that consisted of going to the Dugout and Tys every weekend and getting mega-trashed on beer and standing around trying to not look so trashed and being worshiped in all my faux- bear drag regalia. Boring and old and tired. LOL Ahhh yeah I miss that.
The older you get, the more you think about family. Hugs Larry
I find that I outgrew the "bear circuit" thing about a year or so ago. I think it would/will be fun to drop in from time to time. Enjoy the parts that work, and be glad that it's not the center of my life anymore.
We share two mutual loves: radio and writing. I'm an on-again-off-again freelance columnist who's now (slowly) writing a book, and hosting a politics/issues/activism talk show on the TransFM Radio Network.
I know exactly what you mean about your job. Truth is, I'll probably keep doing my show forever whether it ever happens or not, but I SO want to get an actual job in radio!
I also feel the same way you do about writing. I think people like us, who have so much going on in our lives, use our journals to keep those skills sharp and fresh. I find I'll often take the time to write a short post to my LJ even when I know I finally have a block of free time and that I could use it to work on my book.
By the way, you may not remember me, but I think we met at one of those Pride thingies in either Jersey City or NYC.
