I am so very sorry. Is there any way that you can be there with her, to hold her hand? I ask for your peace and wellbeing, while it is a hard thing to witness. I'm here for you if you need to talk, as while every situation is different, I've lost both parents to illness.

I went straight home and did so, and I managed to get my older brother to come up from Florida.

I think Mom sensed that we were all home because she passed moments after we arrived.

She's in Heaven now.

I asked my mom to include her in the church prayers, her own prayers, and my own.
