Welcome! I'm also a bisexual Christian (though I struggle with that label sometimes; I'm more comfortable labeling myself a Quaker than a Christian). Hope your journey becomes easier now that you've accepted your bisexuality!

Thank you for your welcome! I'm always happy to meet new people. So, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly are your religious views? Sadly, I'm not an expert in many religions. How is it different than Christianity? :)

Well, Quakers believe that each person can connect to the Divine without need of an intermediary. We tend to worship in silence (or have silent worship be part of the service for at least 10 minutes), waiting for God to call us to speak, or to listen. Its history is Christian, but we believe understanding of the Divine can change; thus, we have no creeds. There are three main sects of Quakerism with varying degrees of Christocentricity: the one with the least degree has the widest range of beliefs within its members (for example, liberal Quakers can also be Buddhist, pagan, sometimes even nontheist), while evangelical Quakers make believing in Christ as Savior center to their faith and practice.

As for what I believe personally, I believe in a God who was the spark behind the Big Bang. I admire Jesus for his ability to find and follow God's will, but I am uncomfortable with the idea of him as savior as most people mean it.

Thanks for the clarification. I have always wondered a lot about other religitons, but since I have always been comfortable in my own version of Christianity, I have never taken the time to research others. It's something I have always been interested in, so thank you for your explanation! :)
