my name is kris. im 18 and bisexual.ive been bi before i decided to give my life to Christ. the more i grow in god the more i second guess myself because of my sexuality.i came out to friends about 3 years ago. but now im afraid to come out to my new found christian friends becuase they believe so strongly that homosexuality is an abomination. im ( Read more... )

what was said up there is good. I also suggest http://www.gaychristian101.com/ if the place/people who helped you come to faith are more conservative Christians.

when i say second guessing i mean that when i hear my christian friends talk about homosexuality being a sin i feel like i might have done something wrong or maybe my sexuality is a bad thing.

Makes me wonder whether these new found Christians are the 'flavor' you want to believe with. The phrase 'give my life to Christ' has a ring of conservative fundamentalism about it. Remember that you are on a faith journey and finding people who are accepting of BOTH your beliefs and your sexuality is likely to be in your future if you continue to seek. I spent some time with a rather narrow minded group of Christians when I was in my late teens, and it wasn't a good fit for me, so I moved on.
