ready, set, breathe

Where has this summer gone? I feel like it is slithering right out the door and I haven’t even had a chance to get outside and enjoy it. The skies have been largely overcast the past two weeks, the mountains in the distance ever-shifting color due to the constant changes in the light. One minute, rain, next minute, sun, so on and so forth.

The deserts are so, so lush right now -- New Mexico has received deluge after deluge of rain. It's wonderful! We'll probably have a fairly snowy winter.
