Your mention of being humble.. reminds me of something that I need to start actively working on. Releasing stuff I don't need. Material things.
Color. That's what my room is missing. My own mark of orange, gold, purple and blue. Light for my eyes to focus on.

I adore that. That is just unbelievably beautiful. I find I admire things like that, just with my whole being giving thanks, with sun shining through a tree, making it all fiery and aglow, or ice/raindrops clinging from a tree, lit in the light of day, or more magically, by a streetlight at night.
Thank you... I love color, especially when used in a home setting. I don't understand the American obsession with white walls. Actually, what sold me on the place that I'm in now was the fact that the kitchen is painted yellow and orange. Living in Puerto Rico was fabulous because every house would be a different color, and the walls were usually also painted on the inside.
I use a lot of greens, dark purples, and reds in my room. Also, copper and gold. My roommate and I recently decided to get a Hawaiian them going in the kitchen, to go with my beach house painting.
Hurrah for color. Hurrah for happiness. I cherish both.
