Gasp! What's this? An update?!

Hey, twice in six months is a lot for me! And I'm even going to attempt (cue dramatic orchestral blare) - a cut! I figure it's time for me to learn something techy again. Even if this "progress" looks very suspiciously like what I used to have to do back in the very early 1980s to format things like, say, my thesis...

- Various marvelous and fun folks from the Tolkfic world have passed through my neck of the woods. Cirdan, Wild Iris, Jastaelf, and Kryspen, Pecos and their crew were all great fun and wonderful guests who gave me a chance to show off my neck of the woods a bit.

Not fair! *pouts* Everyone get to meet everyone else, just not me. That's what I have from living in such a small, backwater country. Not even the Germans want to come to Hungary, although they don't have an ocean to cross to get here.

I'm impressed by the gardening work you've done - around me, even the potted plants tend to die. Must be my negative aura or whatnot. Or possibly the "death thumb" I have.

I'm glad that your father didn't have anything lethal, after all. That must have been a relief.

And your little elfling is really adorable. Yay for the opportunity to view the Family Album!

Well, no, our election was not perfectly satifactory, however, I do think it could have been worse. Bully boy Mark Latham with his desire to immitate his hero Gough Witlam (the only Aussie PM ever sacked) is just scary. At least Gough is a good man in his private life, if a shocking PM. Mark likes to thump old people and taxi drivers!

If he was PM and met the Queen, he'd worse than Paul Keating who hugged Her Majesty, Mark would king-hit her!
