EEP! I'm a sucker for that twist ending you put on it, although I personally I would cut the last line--I think a great "thud!" ending would be the apology written on the end and have the reader guess what he's feeling instead of seeing it. Also, feel free to ignore this dripping hypocrisy since Ten did the same to one of my fics once and I completely disregarded it even though she was right (:P Love ya Ten!)

She felt like fire and sin and everything that her role as a priestess did not imply.
Hands down the best line, by far. My eyeballs practically popped out and melted at all the awesome.

So, as per standard operating procedure, she should have a little mini-resistance fighter that is going to totally shank an arrow or something into Dad, right? Oh please let this be the case it would be awesome~!

Hah V, you were much missed at today's fic chat.

As to the last line, you think so? *goes back and ponders it*
Maybe I'll leave it as is for the day as I have some marking to finish that I ignored for a good chunk of the day.

Mini-resistance fighters would take a while to learn how to shank Daddy with arrows...and it would mean another new 'verse for me to work with. We'll see.

*fans self* Seems like the smut van has usurped the angst train.

I'm intrigued that she didn't fight him back and allowed him to have his way with her. Not that I didn't enjoy the smut, because I did, but that surrender part just seems ... strange to me.

The ending, oh THE ENDING! Evil, Li, very very evil twist!

I was attempting to imply that she recognized him as her soulmate when she saw that their auras were intermixing; and that that was enough reason for her to give in. Plus, he's pretty hot...lol.

And the angst, oh the angst...
