Day 13 → A fictional book
Hmmmm.... there are so many.
While I would love to go with
The Drizzt Do'Urden Series by R. A. Salvatore I think I'm going to have to go with
Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Darth Bane: Rule of Two, and
Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil by Drew Karpyshyn.
These books are the epitome of Star Wars Sith Lore. The first one is basically a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic spin off. If you haven't played the game and intend to, the book with spoil you to the story, unfortunately. However, it is a completely enjoyable read if you played the games and wanted more.
Darth Bane is 1000 years post KotOR but he travels to two of the most infamous places in the game and deals with the remnants of Darth Revan and Darth Malak. It also covers how Darth Bane established the (also infamous) Rule of Two for the Sith- that there must always and only ever be one Master and one Apprentice.
The next two books deal with the issues the Rule of Two proposes and how Bane and his chosen apprentice Zannah deal with such. I personally have not made it to the end of the third book yet, but I am excited to do so and I know it will be awesome.
If you're looking for more Lore about the Sith in the Old Republic, these are the books for you. They really convert you to the Dark Side- to the point where you WANT the characters to do evil things, which was a delightful realization for me. "Wait-- why do I WANT her to kill that guy? Have I really been converted so easily?! Damn the Sith!!"
