mysticheaven 1. You’re building your dream house. What’s the one thing that this house absolutely, positively MUST HAVE? (other than the obvious basics of course)
A large, beautiful kitchen with tons of room. My entire life I lived in a house where the kitchen was a converted hallway. Also: Lots of windows. I love me some sunlight.
2. What is your dream car?
A Silver or Blue BMW Z3 Convertible. I've wanted one since highschool.
3. What is your favorite website that isn’t a blog?
Uhhh I don't know. Maybe
Anime OTK? I also spend quite a bit of time cruising IMDB.
4. iPhone 4 or Droid, which do you want?
I don't know. My friend has an HTC which I kinda like... at this point I just want a smartphone. My Pantech crappy crap is a piece of crap.
5. When you’re feeling down or lonely or just generally out of sorts, what do you do to cheer yourself up?
Recently, watching Leverage or cruising for Christian Kane things online. Generally playing into my current obsession cheers me up, whatever it currently is.
6. Tell me about something or someone that you love that most people seem to hate.
I cannot do the same thing every day. Whether it's posting on the internet, updating Facebook/Twitter/etc, watching TV, eating the same thing for meals, or doing the same thing at work, I love changing things up. It's part of the reason why I got into Theatre... you change shows every month so are never being repetitive. I don't know how people can post or roleplay the same thing every day all day.
7. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I'm not sure yet. I want to go into the production element of television or film for sure. What I do there is still up in the air, but it's looking like I'm going to attempt to go in through something in an Art Department.
8. Would you go on a reality show if given the chance?
If I was guaranteed to win, maybe. One of those voting off shows, no. But if it was a game show or something, I might be interested.
9. Who was your favorite teacher when you were growing up. (Grade school, Middle School, Jr. High or High School only.)
Mrs. Cikra was the best English teacher I ever had. I learned more and enjoyed her class than any other. I also LOVED my Latin teacher, Mr. Susel. He and I had similar senses of humor and interests, so I wish I had taken Latin for all 4 years instead of just 2.
10. You get one pass to do something illegal or immoral. What are you gonna do?
I liked
mysticheaven's answer of driving really really fast, but I also would want to participate in a con/heist like the ones in Leverage. That would be so much fun. (I'd love to be the thief-type.)
11. What were you doing 10 years ago?
Wow. 10 years ago I was living with my father as he died slowly at home while getting ready to ride my first airplane on my first trans-Atlantic trip to England. He died the evening before I left, June 26 or 27, 2000. (I honestly cannot remember, everything was such a jumble.)
12. By this time next year, I ...
...hope to either be working for one last summer at this company or getting a job at a theatre somewhere in Los Angeles.
13. Do you think the United States will elect a female President in your lifetime? Do you think this would be a good thing?
I think they will. I believe Clinton got the farthest any woman has ever gotten to President, while Palin was the closest to VP just in this last election alone. I hope that we get a strong candidate for it to happen, though. I hated both of these last two.
14. Which fictional, TV show character you would shag anytime?'
Eliot Spencer, Leverage. Lindsey McDonald and Faith, Angel the Series. Malcolm Reynolds and Jayne Cobb, Firefly.
15. What is your greatest pet peeve?
People standing around chatting or texting while there's work to do. It especially pisses me off when I'm doing work that I need help with and people are just fucking off. Also, the sound of claws on paper/cardboard/plastic bags. Those are the sounds of my cats being assholes and shredding something they're not supposed to, usually waking me up.
16. Tell me about your most recent trip of more than 100 miles?
I just drove from Kent, Ohio to Santa Maria, California. That was about 2600 miles. Did it in 4 days by myself with two cats. Interesting fact: If you listen to nothing but Steven Fry's Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire, it will take you from about St. Louis, Missouri to Las Vegas, Nevada going west on I-70.
17. Which do you use more often, the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Thesaurus probably. I don't tend to use an actual dictionary for words anymore, I just google them.
18. Do you have a nickname? What is it?
Not officially. My dad and a few other select people call(ed) me Bethy but that's about it. I don't consider my internet alias' to be real nicknames.
19. What are you dreading at the moment?
My cat getting sick again. He was exhibiting the starting signs of it one day last week, but not since. I'm still worried though.
20. Do you worry that others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I don't really care.
21. In two words, explain what ended your last relationship.
"Moving home". Or, "Summer Fling".
22. What were you doing this morning at 8am?
Being woken up by my cat who was fed 4 hours before, but still hungry. Fucking cat.
23. Do you have any famous relatives?
I am supposedly related through the family tree on my Dad's side to John Alden of the Mayflower. Other than that, I have no idea.
24. How many different beverages have you drank today?
None, yet. I don't drink things very often. I'm really bad about it.

Sleeping. I'm an old fart now, going to bed at 10:30pm and waking up at 8 am.
29. What’s a word that you say a lot?
Fuck and Exciting. (E.G.- Instead of "That's cool", I'll say "That's exciting")
30. Who is your worst enemy?
I don't really have one right now. I have people who I disagree with, but no one who I absolutely loathe.
