Things change pretty quickly in my life apparently.

My landlady has now, out of the blue, declared the 30 days notice to be official, in writing too after I told her it wouldn't technically count unless she handed me a piece of paper. So I'm back home again in CA. The flight wasn't completely terrible, but the drive back was ridiculous. It took me 5 hours to drive from LAX to Carpinteria, which should normally take 90 minutes. I was in traffic that wavered between stopped completely and 3 miles per hour the ENTIRE way between Oxnard and Carpinteria. I ended up renting a motel ( Read more... )
