hahha, yea it's kinda hard to explain something that dramatic. Thank goodness that it's not leaking anymore :)

Yeah, I saw those pics yesterday and thought "she never said her ceiling was FALLING INTO HER KITCHEN!!!"

When you said bubbles, I was thinking maybe 3-6 inches not 3 feet :) Glad it's on the way to getting better. Did they find the source?

Oh yea, guess I should have elborated on the reason this chaos was occurring: we've had a LOT of rain here over the last week or so, I mean majoring flooding in some areas. The gutter on my building had flipped over from the wind and amount of rain, so instead of the water flowing off the side of the wall, it was going into the bricks and leaking into our kitchen. The maintenance guy turned the gutter back over, repaired the leak in the wall, and removed the plaster and paint that was attacking our kitchen. So yea, I'm way relieved. The rain stopped for a second yesterday, but it's supposed to start up again to some degree tonight. Yay for Oregon weather, I guess.

Sometimes I really wanna move out of this building. Which sucks b/c our landlord is awesome, we've just had more than our share of leaky problems.

Yea, the latex in the paint made the whole thing elastic enough to stretch out so much. So crazy.
