It has, unusally, been a slow day. On, the whole, I can say that I appreciate this. Too much excitement can get to be tiresome in its own way.

Business, however, goes well. Miss Jameson and myself had a very productive meeting over dinner. I will be very interested to hear her decision on the matter.
