i cannot

I can do logical reasoning. I can do reading comprehension. These test my attention span, but as long as I get over being really fucking bored (and not skim the question--the number of questions I've gotten wrong because I failed at reading instructions is kinda embarrassing), I can handle them. No big deal ( Read more... )

Oh god I hate those puzzles. We had to do them constantly in school and my gifted teacher would get actively pissed off at me for just making up a story as an answer. And then I got to HS/College and they didn't even let you have that option. Blargh.

Tea is much better. I discovered Spearmint tea last winter. I loooove it.

I wish I could make up a story for an answer! I just guess and move on if my brain ain't cooperating, and seems like my luck with guessing ran out back in high school, unfortunately.

Speaking of spearmint tea, I recently went on a mini tea shopping spree, and ngl, I'm loving all the new blends I have. In the end, I still get the most comfort out of oolong though, and that's my go to when I'm like DIE LOGIC PUZZLES DIE.

ZOMG WHAT IS THIS TEA??! I MUST HAS IT. *grabbyhands*

You should do a list of tea recs, because I'm kind of a tea newb and have only just discovered tea can be other things besides Lipton and if you're going on tea-sprees this sounds like an awesome thing.

Have you tried the chart system? It's been ages since I've had to sit down and do the blasted puzzles but I do remember charting out the clues and then rearranging them... I'm sure I could dig something up on google for it. It did help get some of them done faster/correctly in place of my go-to theory of "... C?"

I'm a pretty huge outlier when it comes to tea though, because I grew up drinking looseleaf green teas only, so stuff like earl grey and irish brekky with milk and sugar taste exotic to me.

Irish Breakfast is probably my favorite out of the western black tea blends--English breakfast tastes shallow to me. You can probably get a variety box of twinnings teabags that'll have Irish Brekky, English Brekky, and Earl Gray. (If I think English Breakfast is too shallow, we probably shouldn't get started on what I think of Earl Grey--except that it tastes FANTASTIC with a shot of amaretto.) My roommate has an incredible fondness for Earl Grey + Lapsong Souchong, the latter of which is this really smokey black tea that blows you away.

I'll probably post reviews of the fandom blends I bought (they can all be found here, I bought Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Loki, Rory Williams, and Crowley), because omg they're all fantastic and I want to pimp them out to everyone that will sit still long enough to listen ( ... )
