I have nothing to say about Bjork, except that when she wore her Swan, I laughed.

right. that's the one thing everyone thinks about, and they always talk about how silly she looked. but if you ACTUALLY listen to her songs and watch her videos and try to understand who she is and how talented she actually is, the swan sort of makes sense/is inconsequential.

It's true. I think she's probably the most awesome person alive, in her own right, swan dress or not.

I have listened to her.
Now that I think about it, she reminds me of "Swan" from Mad TV. Except Swan is better.

Maybe I am in response to you making fun of me over 'Toledo v Topeka'.
But I will listen to Bjork if it will make you feel better. Perhaps I might even like her. I don't dislike her, I just don't have any opinion about her music.

I wasn't making fun of you, it was more of a "wouldn't it be funny if Topher and Jeff (Geoff?) were both from Topeka?" kind of way, not a "katie is dumb" way.

ahhhhh I remember seeing some of those videos with Nick Russell. They are fucking fantastic. They haunt you for the whole day, you know? The other day, I couldn't get those "I love him" lyrics out of my head. It's so eerie when Bjork's "outside voice", I guess you'd say, comes in and goes "She loves him, she loves him..." It's nuts. I'm glad you and I share the same passion. She's. so. great.

yes! there is a DVD, it's marvellous, I highly recommend it. My friend has it, I think you can get it at most big cd/dvd stores, though I'm not sure.

Let's hang out? I'm in DC, I'm not sure why we're not hanging out at this very moment.
