less cryptically, I really liked this post and especially the kaleidoscope pictures and could you never post another picture of me again okthanks unless it looks pretty. well nm do what you want. I really liked your angry Native American comment. You know what's crazy? That educated people like my professors still call native americans "native american indians" as if they're a little bit indian still even though christopher columbus was STUPID.

it was only the best book EVER. (sorry that was definitely meant for liam.) did you know it's being turned into a movie? i'm extremely pumped and kind of annoyed at the same time. ~eleanor

Wow, I totally feel the same way about the idea of a movie of it. I have such a clear picture of the storage facility in my mind, there is no way a movie can do it the same way. I didn't TOTALLY love the book but I think that's because it creeped me out a little towards the end. It was really well done though.

I know this comment has been long awaited... so here goes.
Hookah magic and watching Saved/waxing poetic til 5am made for a truly enchanted evening. While I felt it was important for me to get my inner Jesus Lizard out at the time, I appreciate the lack of picture hehe. But yeah, there are definitely many great memories from Gardner Ct. that I now have to look back upon. Good times.
I am seriously honored you like those pics. Good idea, no? I absolutely love Arthur Tress to this day. That exhibit was creepy, from the Teapot Opera to the nude male homo-erotic self-inflicted pain from saws and the like. I reminisced about your photography as I posted those pics. Do you still do photography? I tried to register for an advanced class for non-majors in our communications college but it conflicted with a class I have to take. Plus I hadn't done the pre-requisite class (intro to photography? I kinda feel in some ways like I'm at least already qualified for a photography minor from what I learned at Field, which was an impressive amount). I was thinking I could show them my college slides and they would let me in hopefully. I'll try for fall 2005. By the way- Glen Echo anyone? Maybe winter break? Are they open? If not, summer. Most def.
I do indeed still do photography, though I haven't been able to find access to a darkroom on campus and have similar problems with taking a photo class, so I've been almost entirely confined to shooting. I'll definitely be printing over winter break, I'm sure they'll be open some sunday afternoon. As well, we should ask Karen whether she would be interested in teaching a reunion class this summer. I really miss that class. It was good to see your work again.

Remember going to see that Arthur Tress exhibit back in the day? They remind me of his prism pictures.
