Hours passed uneventfully in the Turk Headquarters. When Reno glanced up at the clock, he saw that 9:00 p.m. had already went by. Still there was no word from Professor Gast Loldongs. To make matters worse, the silence that had fallen over the room was really beginning to get to

And Sephiroth doing the Geddan (I think that's how it's spelled?) dance will never get old, hahahaa~
The death of Julisue is so close, I can almost taste the delicious celebratory cake in my mouth.

There needs to be a cheerleading squad for Jenny. (The uniforms are pink, naturally.)
Gotcha covered. Jenny's even part of the squad.

No, no it doesn't. It's what comes to mind every time spineless Juliaroth tries to "fight" Jenova.

I'm really not sure where Slave was going with Reno - presumably she started liking him at some point, so changed his attitude towards her Sue, more's the pity. I understand that Reno wanted to wring as much suffering out of her as possible before she died, but millions of people perished because she lived.
Oh well - not long to go now! I imagine all of the characters are getting ready to celebrate, and none more than Sephiroth!

Oh, darn, she's still alive. Oh well, just a few more chapters.
Work officially ended at 6:00, so it was hardly a wonder that they had been eager to get out of there.
Yes, because being a Turk is totally a 9-5 job that would never require you to work odd hours.
On that note, they'd have long reached the "Go home, I'll call you when I learn something" phase. Especially given that Julia's live isn't in any immediate danger (well, not until Jenova shows up). Loldongs has months to figure this out. Yeah, doing it before the crippling pain starts up would be great, but when it comes down to it, that's an optional goal.
Tseng carefully took aim at Sephiroth, knowing that he couldn't afford to kill him. If he did, there was the very strong possibility that Julia wouldn't survive this mess either.Oh, the hypocrisy here is so palpable, I can taste it (it tastes like unmet ideals ( ... )

Turks may be on call 24/7, but even they finish their workday at one point. In fact, it's shown in Before Crisis that they finish around the same time and go out for a drink together like normal Japanese salarymen afterwards. This is pretty much why I let that one slide.
I figure he's assuming Julia could never fight off the poison (even with Loldongs help) without her big strong man at her side.
I thought of many things that could fit with Julia's supposed inability to survive without Sephiroth. Either Hojo would kill her much more easily without Sephiroth guarding her or she would lose the will to live and kill herself without him, which I find more likely. She has been a great burden on him and it's thanks to him and his moral support that she's made it so far.

On that note, though, why do they have to work late in the first place? There's nothing Tseng and Reno can accomplish right now, so why would they need more Turks?

Faster than the eye could follow, Sephiroth's body had seized Julia and hurled her in front of him.
Am I the only one imagining this into slow-mo with the Angel Beats! song over it? http://youtu.be/fORH60LtOt4?t=1m23s
It's really fun to do so.
My dearest son has a very important role to play in this Planet's future…
Jenova: It's an interesting little novelty called "canon..."

Any idea what Jenova's plans for Sephiroth are in Juliaverse?
