"It's alright, Tseng…" Sephiroth choked out. "She's retreated…"

Watching him cautiously for a moment, Tseng slowly released him, put the safety on his gun, and holstered it.

Lian Hua: Oh yes, because Jenova couldn't possibly be forcing Sephiroth to lie.

As Sephiroth sank to the ( Read more... )

Because of me…because of my weakness on all counts…my wife could die…and it would be my fault
This really sums up problem the biggest problem one of the problems in this fic. It's supposed to be proving Sephiroth's innocence, but the fact is, this Sephiroth is still at fault for what happened in Final Fantasy VII. Sure, it's Jenova calling the shots, but Sephiroth allowed Hojo to inject chemicals, knowing he wanted to put more Jenova cells in him. He knew Jenova was evil, that she wanted to kill anyone with strong ties to him, and that she has "big plans" for him. And yet, even after she fully advertised that she could take over his body any time she wanted, he has only made a handful of weak, emo attempts to counter her.
He should have stepped down from command, relinquished his powerful weapons and materia, and allowed himself to be locked up until they could find a way to purge the Jenova cells from his body.
He might not have wanted this to happen, but he let it happen. Yes, this makes Jenova the one truly responsible for the ( ... )

The Photobucket link is not working for me, I'm afraid. (Edit: Nevermind, working!)

I'm not entirely certain if she realizes that Cetra and the Ancients are the same thing.

She seems to be aware of the fact that the Cetra are an extinct race. This is what Korokou tells Sephiroth during chapter 49:

"Seph...the Cetra died out millions of years ago..."

(Ignore the fact that she got the timeline awfully wrong and flipped evolution off.)

I mean, really, in order to be sure, wouldn't he have to have all of his blood removed?

Very likely, yes. It would require a ton of transfusions to get rid of the cells in his bloodstream. On top of that, like you said, some cells are bound to end up in places where he can't bleed them out.

As always, I just love the drawings~! Even better, because all I could imagine was the Templar doctor in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Malfatto. The only thing that could have made it better was if the phrase "You're going to be experiencing a few side effects... All of them are death" was somewhere in there.

But in all seriousness, blood letting? Slave really thinks that blood letting is something that still occurs in modern medicine? If that's the case it wouldn't surprise me if she still thought that they used leeches for all manner of things as well.

AC:B is soooo good! My favorite multiplayer characters on that one are Il Lupo and Malfatto. But AC:R and ACIII are definitely much better than AC:B.

Haha, it actually came from a meme someone made about Malfatto. It's simply amazing. (hopefully the image will show up here)

Aahhhh you are so cruel I don't have a PS3 or Xbox and I am soooo broke right now ;_;

And even if it's still used, if they're all freaking out about her dying of poison and are desperate enough to do anything to help her why didn't any of those nimrods bring up the idea of bloodletting before she got shot?

I think the doctors just refused to tell them it was an option because they were assholes and she's such a horrible excuse for a human being they thought it'd be better if she died.

First of all, all these pictures are full of win.

Totally worth the wait.

Julia has lost so much blood that most of the toxins in her bloodstream have been washed out.

But... that's not how it works... D: THAT'S SO FREAKING CHEAP WHAT EVEN

Maybe she did die, but came back as a ghoul or something (I know that ghouls aren't in FFVII, but I've gotta hope, right)?

Because of that, he had lost his son!

Oh, don't worry about that. Your son is doing a lot better now.

Really? Bleeding out the poison? Don't most of us realise losing a lot of blood = bad idea very early on?

Still, at least there were illustrations by Iscariot (wooo alliteration) and the sporking itself to keep this interesting :D
