ok so barbara drove me home today and we walked in the house and i was about to go upstairs and she told me she needed to talk to me. So she told me my dad is in the hospital and that he would tell me what was wrong because it wasnt her place. So he called and lied to me and said that they dont know what was wrong and that he might have to stay

wow, i hope he gets better but now its my turn to tell you a story.
When my dad had a heart attack last year my mom kept it from me and said that i needed to hear it from him instead of her and i felt excactly the same way you did. I didnt really know what to do but she ended up telling me when everything was under control. So im sure it seems unfair but its better to know at a time when everythings somewhat better so you wont worry over it until it is apropriate.
