The self pity only lasted a moment, replaced by anger at Herbert’s remark. Better off without her? How can he say that? He thought angrily.

“Am I, Herbert? Better of with YOU, am I?” Dan yelled.

Herbert was taken aback. Dan sighed. He knew that yelling at Herbert wouldn’t help, no matter how angry Herbert makes him.

Oh I LOVED it!! So cute and sweet, that scene in the movie had so many possibilities for slashy greatness! Great little fic!

Thanks. I thought it was a little too 'sweet' but I usually write the fics a bit violent or twisted, so I thought I'd give normal a try! lol

Maybe I'll stick to violent and twisted ;)
