Not much; what's up with you?

So, the most interesting thing lately is that I have been diagnosed with adult ADD! And here I always thought I was just flaky! My doctor thinks I should go on Ritalin. I am not kidding! I feel like Felicity Huffman's crazy kids on Desperate Housewives; I'm taking a couple of weeks to think about it. I hate to take drugs, even aspirin (although ( Read more... )

Will do! ;) At the very least it's a great excuse to go back and rewatch all of this season's eps.

1. My dad, in his late 70s, went on ADD meds a year or two ago and it's totally changed him as a person, for the better. Like, I have never in my life seen him read a book and now he'll be reading two at once. And he's easier to talk to. It's bizarre yet awesome. Some of my half-siblings in their 40s have had the same experience, so.... my unsolicited advice is that maybe it will be awesome for you, too!

2. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF WGA STRIKE AND WRITING LONG-OVERDUE OFFICE METAS

GET ON THIS, PLS.

3. My proud Singlehood is secure! You are like Pam Beesly, changing Meredith's tire! Yaaay you.

4. I hope to move to Atlanta or Boston. Do Boston! Pick Boston!!

Wow, that is amazing and inspiring about your dad. And very very helpful. I'm actually optimistic now! Behold your great power!

Now if only I had a nice new terrycloth robe to go with my Pam-ish Singlehood.

YES MA'AM! I foresee some S4 meta being posted, ohhhhh, by New Year's!

I've been listening to the Flyers as much as I can, and I did watch the Pens/Flyers game last week -- what an awesome new rivalry! I hate Sidney Crosby.

HAAHAAHAA! OMG YES! We call him Cindy here. *g* We're very unkind people.

I'm glad that there's nothing new on TV right now (though I need to watch last night's Journeyman so I can watch the last episode EVER on Wednesday night. ::sigh:: Such a shame. It improved so much from the beginning of the season. Stupid NBC. Right now my TiVo is showing a "to do list" that has nothing but Guiding Light and Sesame Street. Nice, huh? You would think I would be taking advantage of all of this free time, but alas, other things have taken their place -- such as trying to get ready for the holidays. I'm dreading wrapping gifts. Everyone but the kids might be getting gift bags this year. I just don't think I'm going to have the energy otherwise ( ... )

Heeeee. Cindy. Love it! Why is he such a cry baby? I don't think I've seen a bigger whiner in the NHL. Kinda goes against what the league stands for and everything. But what do I know? I've just been a fan longer than that kid's been alive ( ... )

Thanks! I'm teetering between feeling productive and feeling like I start about a million different projects but never finish them all! So it's great to get some validation.

Right now I'm hoping to post meta by New Year's... I think I'm enjoying the whole going-back-and-rewatching-80,000-times a little too much!

I hope you have a merry Christmas and get to de-stress completely over your break!

Yay for proud singlehood! And if you move to Atlanta, I must visit you, especially if Ed Helms happens to be visiting his parents. ;) Ha, I have cousins in Atlanta! You'd think I'd visit them, but... no. As for work, at least you're applying! That's more than I can say. After I get a rejection I lose all my energy for looking a job. I go through spells where I apply to three places, and when they all reject me, I convince myself that I don't need a job. *sigh* My crazy optimism keeps me thinking that I'll win that Publisher's Clearinghouse $5,000 a Week for the Rest of Your Life sweepstakes. So not going to happen, but I am forever a hopeless dreamer.

Hahaaaaaaaaa, yes, I must admit, I can't think about Atlanta for more than 10 minutes without thinking at least once that Ed and Brian are natives. You will have to time your visits to your cousins with (1) my moving there, if I do, and (2) Office hiatuses! And pshaw, the clearinghouse... I remain convinced that I am a future Powerball winner, and that is the extent of my retirement planning, baby, right there! ;)
