OMG, this is so shocking. I just heard him talk this morning live on WTOP, the news radio station in DC.

Oh God, I am so sad about this. I was actually sobbing when I heard the news. His poor family! Wah!

I admit I teared up too, thinking about his family. And how it just hits you that life is so short, so precious. I mean, one minute you're listening to him give a spiel about what's going to be on Meet the Press this weekend, and the next time you check the news you find out he's gone. 58 is so young, too. My heart is just broken.

Yeah, a total shock. I just heard him this morning on WTOP. He does a segment around 7:20 on Fridays to chat about issues and promote Meet the Press each week. I'm just so shocked.

I burst into tears. He was such a remarkable journalist.

I'm watching MSNBC, and it's so sad.
