Zac posted this question like a few months back about how to say "petsmart." So for some reason it popped into my head that the correct way for this to be seen is "Pet's Mart." The slogan is "Where the Pets go." Implying that this "Mart" is a Mart for pets. Also the bouncing ball is where an apostrophe would go otherwise ( Read more... )

Well, the whole idea behind the name "Petsmart" is that saying, "pet's mart" and "pet smart" sound exactly the same. If you pronounce the two phrases differently, then you're weird.

That's what makes it work, and that's what makes it a clever name.
