hmmm....I have Uta-kata sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to muster the courage to watch it. Every time I see the splash page for it.......I just can't bring myself to click on it. I take it that you are saying this is a good thing and I should just banish it from sight?

Eh, personally I've enjoyed it so far, having seen the first two episodes. Nothing groundbreakingly fantastic, but it's not bad, either. Interesting take on the whole magical girl concept, at any rate.

Hmmm...now that I've actually read Nagi's entry...I see that he said it was "interesting" not typical. Regardless, I don't see much anything "interesting" about it. There's a giant sun god. Wahoo. I'll take moon wands and talking cats over that any day. :p

Well, there's more than just the Sun God. It seems as though Ichika's purpose is to experience the world through different elemental deities for a reason that I don't think they've fully disclosed just yet (might have something to do with the main antagonist that - as of the second episode - hasn't made her move yet, either). Also seems to heavily involve Ichika's yaoilicious tutors.

We'll just say that *I* wanted to bash my head in with a mallet. There's absolutely no direction to the show. It's mindless costume changes on an annoying lead character.

Bamboo didn't think it was that bad, though. Like Nagi said...it's typical mahou shoujo...but I think it's on the lower end of the dipstick as far as the genre is concerned.

Yes, I *did* just say dipstick...
