My mother spent three weeks in the hospital getting tests for muscle weakness back in september. They chalked it up to her cholesterol medication (a somewhat common side-affect, it appears), took her off of it and sent her homes

MS??? not good. I hope you don't have it. To bad your mother does, though it does explain her staying in bed and no energy problems.
How old are your nieces? They sound like 10-12, going by the shows you watched.

It's (assummed) MD, not MS. And apparently you can have it with little to no symptoms, so even if I test positive, I may never have much in the way of problems. We'll see what happens after the EMG test.

My nieces are 6 and 9. She thought Doctor Who was weird. (My sister got home mid-way through and thought that the Jon Pertwee Doctor looked like Liberace). The older one sort of wandered in an out between games on her iPod.
