I think a lot of Gackt fans start out with that really strong passion towards him and it always filters out a bit. Even me, I was such a strong fan and listened to nothing but Gackt for so long, now I rarely listen to him. I still acknowledge him as a genius, a perfect songwriter, an amazing voice and hilarious in interviews, but when it comes to my feelings towards them, I too, remain a bit distant from him.
So you are not alone. I know others who were stronger fans in the beginning as well. So we are not alone.
