Not something you see every day, or night even
Driving back into the estate just now, a snowy owl perched on one of the fenceposts by the road.
I pulled up right next to it (10 feet away maybe), but it flew away before M& could get a phone out of her bag.
I think that's the closest I've ever seen an owl in the wild. -
