Ypu might have seen him it two quite famoust TV shows: he hosts the British quiz show Q.I. and he played Jeeves (the super-smart butler) in Jeeves and Wooster with Hugh Laurie back in the 1990's.
Oh, I love Stephen Fry. I can't read any of Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster stories without hearing his dry, put-upon drone. And his "Mr. Mybug, the famous writer" in Cold Comfort Farm was hilarious. And he now owns a book that you worked on? Yay!
Some of my colleagues are HUGE Stephen Fry fans, LOL - they've been threatening to force feed me episodes of Fry and Laurie... and 'Yes Prime Minister' and other such British comic masterpieces, LOL! (I've agreed, of course, I'm really very interested.)
So i TOTALLY get your excitement. I wish you had been there to meet him, though!
