Fricking fracking! shannenigans October 26 2011, 20:54:02 UTC
I totally understand being livid about this, there have been earthquakes in Texas in the last few months caused by fracking. Well, they say not caused directly by fracking, but by disposing of the liquid left over from fracking. Ouch, everything I read about fracking sucks. (I've also been reading about tar sands oil and the Keystone pipeline and although the technology is different, many aspects of it suck the same ways - so I went to the protests here about it.) Families shouldn't have to uproot themselves so oil companies can profit off destroying their environment. Is it all a done deal for their area? Is there much opposition to the oil companies in rural SE Ohio? Will your mom and stepdad stay there or move?
