Today feels impossibly heavy. I try to write a paper for school but my heart and mind are elsewhere, as is often the case lately.  I am acutely aware of the injustices and suffering happening in the world around me yet I continue playing this role of graduate student, dutifully completing assignments. I wonder how so many people are capable of

I know the feeling. I don't know how to make a difference in the world, only myself. I try to better myself and work on accepting others and reality. There's always more I could be doing though. It's overwhelming.
