This weekend there was a rally in Anchorage, Alaska of women asserting that Palin doesn't speak for them. It was by all accounts the largest political rally in Alaska history. See photos, video and accounts of the rally at Daily Kos. Here's my favorite pic:

I love some of the signs at the Anchorage anti-Palin rally. There are some more here.

I'm tired of the pit bull references. Thanks Palin, you stupid bitch. They already have a BAD enough rep that is totally undeserved. Thanks for playing into stereotypes. Not that I expect better out of a woman who approves of the arial gunning down of wolves and bears.

Word, word word Crysania4! My head exploded over that remark. Oh yeah, she's so brave gunning down animals out of an airplane too. I live in a very progun/prohunting area, and I don't know of too many hunters who approve of that sort of thing. Sadistic asshole. I hate her, I really do. She's worse then Bush.

Thank you for posting that. yeah the economy is doing great! The guidelines for poverty need a serious over haul. They were originally based on the price of food. They need to be based on housing, utilies and geographical location.

Hey, at least it includes the price of food. The "inflation rate" doesn't, nor does it include gasoline. Because, um... those are things people need to buy?

I guess when it was written, food took a much bigger bite out of peoples budget. I'm not certain how it works, but it needs to be jacked up so to speak.
