Where on Vote for Change can you confirm registration? I'm looking to find it so that I can show it to other California residents, since California doesn't let you confirm online.
[ETA: Nevermind, I got it - just enter your name etc.]
Yep! You have to enter your name first, I should mention that. According to Voters Unite, Massachusetts wants you to call your local election office to confirm, too, and this is much easier.
I don't know, but I suspect it would constitute voter fraud, unless your residency is ambiguous somehow. (Students can register either at home or where they go to school, despite some voter registrars attempts to prevent that.) You should be able to re-register at VoteForChange or (if you're in the same city) file a change of address form at the registrar's office.
The only exception, I would think, would be if you moved after your locale's voter registration deadline, in which case presumably you'd have to vote under your old address.
I'm going to play it safe and send off a new voter reg form - I'm in the same county and everything, so it should be painless. I know the deadline is today, but at what hour do you have to get it in by? I'm thinking of turning it into the post office right after work at five.
I don't know that either. (Wow, I fail at voter information.) Assuming that it has to be postmarked today and not received today, that should be fine, but I'm not sure what the rule is there, either.
Yikes! Yeah, I meant to post this yesterday, but I forgot. Four states' deadlines were yesterday, though how you can have a Sunday deadline, I don't know.
