Well, I had a pretty good bday, all in all. Even got a striptease.

But god, this next year thing is killing me.
Options:
1. Stay here--but would that be delaying the inevitable?
2. Go to thailand-- but would that be running?
3. Go home--I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that.

Anyway...your thoughts?

I agree with Kat. I mean, naturally we miss you and want to see you a helluva lot more. But it's not about what we want...it's about what makes you happy.

That's what we really want.

I'm going to disagree- don't come home. I think it would feel very anticlimatic and boring, and you might have trouble re-assimilating. You'll have changed; everyone one else won't have.

Or maybe not. Only you know what's right for you. But you are getting a very unique and awesome opportunity to broaden your horizons and experience new cultures. Most people wouldn't be capable of spending a year in a foreign country alone. It's pretty remarkable that you are. So. . . why not try Thailand?
