Dude! Where the fuck is the coriander, yo? And what is this strange, orange crap over here. It looks like a dead rat dipped in cheese. I refuse to work under these circumstances, captain! Or not until I get either a. some real food, or b. some real booze to take my mind off this shit ( Read more... )

Did you get that bottle of wine I sent you for Christmas yet? If you did, I bet you drank it already. It was the best I could find here in Alexandria; I thought it might remind you of home.

Yeah I got it, and believe me, it's stashed away good. Our captain's not the most sober guy I've met, and that's something coming from me. But I swear he sneaks around at night and searches for anything good enough to knock him off for a few hours. And I don't need to be reminded of home, thank you.

Aww. Drink it fast then. And share it with Rude, okay? ... It'll be ... for the better.
But home is so nice and warm, Reno. I miss my home, though I don't miss my parents.

Share? Hell no! I'm keeping this for myself. And what do you mean by better?

Eh, I'd have do disagree with you on that, Celes. I think roaming is much better than settling back down in that place.

Yeah well, at least my cooking is. Or it would be if there was anything good here.

Oh you're so kind. I'll have you know my cooking is top notch!

I have never been happier to have the expertly prepared cuisine here at Shin-Ra. Have I mentioned that I just hired a new chef? You haven't tasted greatness until you've tried his chocolate soufflé. It goes wonderfully with a Brut Cuvée sparkling wine. Why just tonight we had grilled Victorian lamb cutlets were gently roasted and well rested, rendering them with just enough fat to give flavour but staying tender and juicy within.

Do enjoy your little jaunt on the boat, Reno.

You'd what, Reno? Terrify me with your command of the English language? Growl cutely? I'm frightened. Really.

I shall think of you when I have a slice of of that chocolate lava cake late with a fine merlot.

Yeah yeah, keep talking. Just remember who's doing the important field work here and who's sitting on his ass stuffing his face with expensive shit.

I hate to point out the obvious, mate, but why not buy some foodstuffs while you're out and about Port Royal?

What do you think I'm doing, captain. Somehow I'd been hoping that my day off would be spent for more entertaining matters, not grocery shopping.
