So long story short, my job laid me off because they were too cheap to pay me the £92 for working 16 hours a week.  Yes, this is the real reason told to me by my boss.  They "can't afford" to pay me, so no more job!

I got a job at the Post Office in town.  It pays decent and even though I'm only contracted 16 hours I can pick up all the shifts I want since I guess everyone is lazy or has too many parental responsibilities to go to work.  I probably won't end up with more than 25 hours a week though, which is pleasant.  I don't like work ( Read more... )
