Ooo- Thank you SO much for that helpful hint. I'm going to talk to the dr. about it this week when I go in for the PPD thing.

And thank you for the encouragement on the meds. It's so hard...

::hugs:: I'm sorry it's been rough. If it helps any, it's not abnormal to have postpartum depression. It's a hormonal thing. Unfortunately I don't know right off a good way of dealing with it. It may be as simple as using progesterone or something, I don't know. Hopefully your doctor will have some good and helpful advice. I'll be praying for wisdom, encouragement and healing for you!

They wanted me to go to counseling and get back on anti-depressants. Major bummer. At least for while I'm nursing it is. SO, not sure how to proceed. Things have been getting better, I think.

Glad things are getting better! So, are you currently on anti-depressants? I just asked about alternatives to anti-depressants on an midwifery email group I'm on... I'll let you know if I come up with any good information! There's a good chance someone has some good advice.
