i know its geeky but i feel the need to celebrate! its such a big deal. i just talked to nana yaa, one of my best friends over there and she got me all pumped up! ghanas 50th year of independance! thats so young as far as countries go, and they were the first nation in africa to win independance, and they are stooooooked

oh, maggie. if you serve non-chew soup i suggest learning the heimlich. not because soup is imminently choke-on-able, but because in the slim chance someone did, choking to death on soup would be too hilarious.
