What a wonderful little fic! I had to look up the meaning of "interstitial" - perfect title for this. I thought your canon was very accurate. I love this idea of them meeting before S2. Hhmmm, that would mean that both Brian and Justin would have had Ben before Michael. There's an explosive, jealous scene in the future! 'There isn't enough Ben/Justin fic, which is a shame. I love B/J fic but this pairing makes so much sense to me.
