( video; English ) The season started in 1969 America. How could I NOT do this?

[ First thing the camera is greeted with is a WWI-era gas mask. The only thing discernible is the choppy golden hair sticking out. Then America lifts it up to reveal his face, looking even more panicked than in his last post. If the ghost of the Rail Tracer hasn't already cracked him, what's going on now certainly will.

[...Disturbing. Japan wasn't going to reply at first, but even America... ...Hm.]

How troubling... Is America-san having issues?

[ America looks so suspicious. ]

Somehow your warnings don't exactly give me the same sort of feelings as Girlpan's do.

Hah... "Girlpan" is it?

[He's actually more bothered by that than he'll let appear. But he glances off screen, silent before speaking again.]

Naturally. America-san does not like conflict with his ideals. And I am from my time, and she is from hers... America-san will pick a favorite and not wish to face the past.

But which Japan is from America-san's world?

I'm more inclined to start calling her Japan and you "Boypan" at this point.

You already know I can confront the past. [ his lips twitch a bit under the mask ] She's just nicer in general. Nicer than you ever were, or ever become, even past your time. She's just plain better.

[ Okay, not entirely true, but he's angry at everyone anyway so WHY NOT JAPAN TOO. ]

Unfortunately, I got stuck with the inferior version.

[Even though he was the one who started being rude, America's words really get to him. Enough so that even though he had been trying to avoid it, there's a moment of a hurt look before he blinks it away to anger. Straight faced.... anger.]

Is that so? [Falling back on these sort of phrases... He pauses briefly.]

My apologies. At least here, America-san can trade. [And he hangs up.]
