I found out this week that because of the state budget crisis, the tuition assistance program is being suspended "until further notice". My current class is already paid for, but after this class no more free tuition. I'm still going to apply for the counseling program this spring and we'll see what happens by next fall when the program starts. But ( Read more... )

I bought the first Stephanie Meyer book Twilight. I had heard good reviews of her series and it's extremely different than what I normally read (which had previously been mostly about crime or the criminal justice system). Mel and I went to the JW Marriott spa two Saturdays ago for hot stone massages and facials. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the pool, steam room, and other amenities that the spa had to offer.
