It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves at the beautiful party, and it set me wondering... Not now, obviously, with it still being a bit cold for such things, but would anyone be interested in a large community picnic later in the year? I mean, people seem to like to get together and spend time with one another, and in better weather ( Read more... )

That's right! And usually they bring drinks, too, like lemonade or iced tea. There was a lot of playing ball and races, when we used to hold department picnics at home.

I'm not certain! I hope it's fairly soon, though... We got quite a bit of snow at home, but not usually so much so quickly.

Oh, is it? I suppose it is... I hadn't really noticed. I guess it's just something I feel I can do well, so I try to play to my strengths? But the picnic was supposed to be more about people gathering for a fun time and less about the food...
