I do not think it would go over well if, in this interview for work, I answered : Why (name of university)? With: They pay me.
And yet, this is my gut reaction.

Repeat after me- they are not looking for someone who tells the truth. They want someone who they can feel comfortable with- social lies serve a purpose. ;)
I had to convince my sister of this as she kept on telling the truth in job interviews.

I already have the job, this is a university wide group that is "highlighting" the library in November. Thankfully the group won't ask me this in person. They will however, take my picture--eeek
