I think I need a new icon again.

I just give up. I do. I will never ever ever get out of debt. There will always be something breaking or whatever.
The dishwasher repair did not work. The dentist yesterday cost about $100 more than I thought it would.

I worked all morning at Kindergarten and just really did not need this stress.

Gah. It's always something, isn't it? I had a budget for the first two weeks of this month but I've already blown it because it didn't account for several expenses that came up. AND it turned out when I copied it into an Excel spreadsheet, I had subtracted incorrectly and assumed I had an extra $100 that I don't have, so I am even behinder than I already knew I was. And no, the budget did not include gifts. Blearg.

I think the thing we both need to keep in mind is that if we keep on this path, we WILL get out of debt, but you can't just climb on top of it and be done. It's a process, like dieting. If we're closer to being debt-free, then that's better than we were before we started this. (If only being debt-free caused us to LOOK better, like losing weight... wouldn't that be nice?)

It is indeed. I guess I'm just tired of thinking--Oh man I could do X if we didn't have that debt there. But I know that it is like dieting, you don't eat healthy for one day and whammo you lose 20 pounds. But if we buy this dishwasher than I will literally have spent about $1100 more this month than I was planning on. That is so depressing when you think that there is only like $1500 left of the debt.

I hear you, I really do. It gets so frustrating sometimes.
