I'm getting rid of this thing. I really should actually call and email and all that. While this was great and all, next year needs to be completely fresh. No extra stuff attached. So, for those who have been keeping tabs on me. I'm deleting this as of tomorrow ( Read more... )

You know...that survey thing I did the other day was true. I take a long time to decide something and generally even after that I take it back. I'm letting some people I had on this friends list dictate how I run my life. I need to stop doing that. I may not delete this after all. I don't want you out of the loop...really.

You know, the interesting thing about LJ, is that you can put up filters, you can drop friends, you can decide who learns what about you.

You do what you need to do to make yourself happy....lord knows the LJ world isn't going to do it for you.

And never let anyone tell you how to run your life. Too many people have expectations for what is "right", and never consider that "right" for them is totally wrong for someone else.

You know if your life is working or not, and you know what you're willing to do to make it work if not. Whether your choices offend someone else or seem impractical to them....well, they aren't you.

That said, I go back to lurking...being the troll under your LJ bridge. Sorry if it seems presumptuous to put in my two cents, but I hate seeing well-spoken, intelligent, interesting people wallowing in self-doubt or misery. There is a whole world out there, just begging to be discovered, if you can just find the enthusiasm for it.

Thanks for the input. Sometimes I need to hear that. I've got new enthusiasm...I'm reentering the job market and I am going to move at the end of the school year. :-) Now, to get it done next year.
